Alam Batu Resort Room Overview
The resort consists of 11 generous bungalows, 1 single bungalow and 3 villas.
Bungalow
The bungalows are spacious (40 m2) and designed in typical Balinese style. They are built from local wood and bamboo, the roof is covered by alang-alang. They fit perfectly into the landscape and are arranged to ensure, that you have a lot of privacy in your bungalow. All bungalows offer A/C.
The bungalows also have a generous terrace with a view of the sea. There is a comfortable outdoor bed on the terrace, where you can also sleep at night (a mosquito net can be installed by the staff if desired). The bathrooms are located at the back of the bungalows, partly covered (toilet and sink) and partly outdoor (shower).
Sendiri - Single Bungalow
Sendiri, the single bungalow, is located very centrally, right next to the pool. It is air-conditioned and has similar furnishings to the double bungalows, but is somewhat smaller. The bathroom is also partially open (shower) and partially roofed (washbasin and WC). You have a direct view onto the pool from the small terrace.
Villa Ayam I & II
A separate section of the resort, above the garden, is the location for two comfortable air-conditioned villas with a private pool and garden. These villas are ideal for families or guests seeking plenty of privacy. You can retreat to this idyllic spot, free from all disturbances. If you wish, we will bring your meals to the villa, or you can also take them in our restaurant.
Villa Ayam I accommodates up to four guests; Villa Ayam II has room for two guests. The two villas can be rented separately or together.
Villa Anton
Villa Anton is located near the dive base. It’s a cheaper accommodation for two people with air-conditioning, but without sea view. It’s the perfect choice for people who spend most of their time underwater.

- Free WiFi - The resort has WiFi in the restaurant and lounge area. The connection is resonably good and normally fast enough to stream. The cellular data coverage is very much depending on the provider. The best working provider in the resort is IM3 and should guarantee 4G coverage throughout the resort. SIM cards and data packages can be purchased directly at the airport after clearing immigration and customs.

The generous and charming restaurant is located near the seashore with a fantastic view of the sea and the bays.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 11 am. If you miss it, no problem, the restaurant is open all day from 8 am to 11 pm. If you are hungry from diving, you can also have a hot meal in the afternoon, try one of our tasty soups, for example.
In the afternoon Balinese coffee and sweets are served. Dinner is served around 7.30 pm. You can, of course, have your dinner earlier or later. The food varies from typical Indonesian dishes to Thai and European meals. BBQ’s (fish or meat) or buffets with various Indonesian dishes are also offered regularly.

Dive Overview
The underwater world in Bali offers a great variety of species. Located in the southwestern part of the coral triangle, the richness of the coral reefs is unique. More than 3.500 species have been discovered here. The Indonesian current is in charge of transporting plankton to the reefs around Bali. This very important current transports the water from the Pacific Ocean, via Java and Banda Sea, to the Indian Ocean. This optimal geographic situation guarantees the great diversity of fish, coral, and critters; including nudibranchs, rhinopias, ghost pipefish, cowries, boxer crabs, mimic octopus, wonderpus and many more.
The Alam Batu house reef, situated directly off the resort, is a wonderful and mostly untouched reef of over 800 meters. The coral diversity varies from soft corals, black corals, table corals and gorgonians up to 2 meters in diameter. The corals shelter a fantastic underwater world with many schools of fish (including juvenile barracudas, snappers), reef sharks, seahorses, harlequin shrimps and other critters.
With a bit of luck you can also see dolphins, pilot whales and ocean sunfish passing by.
Aside from the beautiful house reef, there are numerous nearby dive sites that offer a variety of diving options including coral diving, muck diving, wreck diving, and awesome night diving. By boat, it only takes 15 minutes to get to the "Liberty" wreck or to the famous dive spots "Drop off", "Ulami" and "Coral Garden" in Tulamben.
Alam Batu is also an outstanding place for macro photographers. Our dive guides are great at spotting micro critters such as pygmy sea horses and other small species.

- Little wall with small cave, pretty overhangs; chances to encounter leaf fishes, octopi, school of barracudas; nice hard- and soft corals. 3 min. boat ride
- TEMBOK CANTIK
- BEAUTIFUL WALL – drift dive back to alamBatu; beautiful wall fully covered with life, small cave at 12 m, nice overhangs with sponges, black and white coral bushes, different sizes of gorgonians; schools of red tooth triggerfish; some big fish out in the blue; current.

- In the beginning, this dive lead along a mooring line covered in algae and coral growth, then the site turns into a sandy slope which ends in a lush coral field where we will have the chance to discover various oceanic creatures, i.e. ghost pipefish, nudibranchs and special kind of shrimps. In the shallows towards the end of the dive, we will explore a vivid cleaning station where leaf scorpion fish, ribbon eels and different types of pipefish are encountered frequently.

- Sunken 2012 by the Indonesian government; in depth of 17 – 32 meters; easy to dive with the possibility to see barracudas and eagle rays.

- U.S.A.T. LIBERTY
- The famous wreck in front of Tulamben. stranded in 1942, sank in 1963 after the volcano eruption; easy wreck to dive on; depths of 4 - 30 meters; beautiful hard and soft coral growth; Early morning dive with a large school of bump head parrotfish leaving the wreck, school of barracudas and interesting macro life as well; a real must!

The generous dive base offers everything you need. Enough space for your equipment, a classroom, a camera room, air and nitrox (Nitrox EAN 32). Dive equipment can also be rented. Up to 6 boat dives are offered daily. Dive courses are offered according to PADI guidelines – from "PADI Open Water Diver" to "PADI Divemaster".
