What a lovely resort. The grounds are nicely groomed and all of the cottages have a beautiful view of the white sand beach with palm trees. There is a nice pool and a camera room, along with the main area used for meals and conversation. The staff was all very helpful, friendly, and enjoyable to be with. The food was very good, offering a variety of cuisines for all palates.Diving in Lembeh was something very new to us and initially I wasn't sure what to think. Our dive team was GREAT. They where with us each step of our dives to make sure we saw everything you could want to see in the area. They were very helpful with assisting me with my new camera, ensuring I took the best pictures. We saw plenty of marine life including Electric Clams, Longarm Octopus, Painted Frog Fish, several types of shrimp, Balloon Fish, just to name a few.I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Have just enjoyed a week at White Sands Resort in. Lembeh at the end of 3 weeks diving in North Sulawesi. We have been very impressed with White Sands Resort. Our bungalow is fantastic, well appointed with hot/cold water dispenser and aircon. Very comfortable bed.Dining is a treat, excellent food and excellent staff. The al a carte menu is amazing.Main reason for coming here was the diving. The dive team and boat was fantastic. My wife has a slight sore back after over 3 weeks diving. The boat crew lifted her gear, made sure everything was easy for her, even helped with fins. The boat and dive crew were really friendly, professional and took great care of us.Our gear was well looked after for for the week, Riko, was amazing at finding things for us, and helpful with photography. He spotted a “Sean the Sheep” from 4 meters that was at most 3 mm long - amazing. The camera room is well set up for photographers. We have stayed at a few resorts in Lembeh over the years. White Sands is now our go-to.

I just returned from 2 weeks at White Sands Beach Resort and made 38 dives, all of which were a very short boat ride away. Richard, my dive guide, would ask me what I wanted to see and bam, there it was: frogfish, seahorses, coconut octopuses, cuttlefish, hairy frogfish, wunderpus, mimic octopus, nudis by the bucket, flamboyant cuttlefish, electric clams, pygmy seahorses, ornate and robust ghost pipefish, and anything else one desires to see muck diving. I could not have been happier. Private bungalow, #1, was right next to the restaurant, and the A/C was outstanding, as well as the bed and bathroom. A big dispenser of drinkable hot or cold water in your room was always at your fingertips. Andrea and Susan, management, as well as all other staff, were outstanding. When I ran out of personal supplies, they would pick up what I needed the next day when they went to pick up other guests in town. Everything flowed flawlessly. The food was varied, tasty, and plentiful, but I do have one suggestion. I really missed Asian breakfasts like noodles or rice, as the breakfasts were more Western. The only thing I would change in my room would have been adding a reading light, as opposed to a lamp on the nightstand. It was difficult to write at the desk or read in bed, but with such minimal suggestions, you can tell I highly recommend this resort, and would re-book in a nanosecond. Thank you all for a great dive trip!
