Dive Information
Scuba Diving Komodo
You will find an impressive and immense variety of fishes, absolutely fascinating and garnished reefs as well as all kinds of predators such as groupers, karangs, tunas or reef sharks. From time to time pelagics such as the famous Mola Mola can be seen in the north of Komodo Park.
All this marine life will make absolutely incredible scuba diving memories. With a little luck, you can also come across grey sharks and hammerhead sharks!
One of the main reasons for coming to Komodo is the annual abundance of Manta Rays that will daily perform ballets in front of you.
Diving Season
You can go scuba diving in Komodo all year round because every month of the year promises top-quality scuba diving actions on the Komodo National park.
It is considered the dry season when the weather is at its best. However, November to March is the rainy season with a few showers up to 2 hours usually during nighttime.
In our opinion, April & June, just after the rainy season, is the best month for scuba diving in Komodo National Park.
Normally the water is cooler (average 20 to 25C) in the south of the National Park and warmer and clearer in the north (average 25 to 28C) of it with the best visibility around 30+ m.
And July and August, having cooler seas that are more nutrient-rich but lower in visibility (average of 15m), with blooming marine life are Manta Party Time!
The best time for manta sightings is all year round, and for Mola Molas, the best month is generally August.

If you're looking for a dive company in Labuan Bajo it can be quite daunting with all the options - but you've found the right one. Incredible company with the best instructors/dive masters. We went out with Martin (absolute legend) and Mogi (incredible DM). They made us (complete amateurs) feel so comfortable that we decided to complete both our open water and advanced certifications. Prices are competitive and they match your skill/comfort levels PERFECTLY. Thanks for the great time, definitely will be back there sometime in my life!
