Detailed information about the itinerary
Departs and returns to Sorong with 8 - 12 night excursions.
Dive the Four Kings area of Indonesia and immerse yourself in mantas, wobbegong sharks, and pygmy seahorses. Explore colorful hard and soft corals teeming with magnificent sea life. Raja Ampat was declared the most biodiverse place in the world. The marine park is home to over a thousand different species of fish and more than five hundred different corals. Village visits are offered as well as other eco adventures.
Departs from Ambon or Bau Bau, returns to Bau Bau. Wakatobi itineraries are limited and range from 8 11 nights.
Wakatobi National Marine Park, referred to by Jacques Cousteau as diving nirvana, surrounds the islands of Wangi Wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko in a pristine and isolated area. Highlights include schools of surgeonfish, big eye trevallies, fusiliers, dogtooth tuna, barracudas, giant groupers, manta rays, and wobbegong sharks. Reefs are covered with hard and soft corals, leather corals with intricate tunnels, caverns, walls and coral gardens. Shore excursions can include a local fishing village and birdwatching.
Departs from Ambon and returns to Suamiaki for 9 - 12 nights and between 23 - 40 dives.
The remote and isolated Forgotten Islands stretch across one thousand miles of ocean with the Indian Ocean to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. This secluded setting gives way to crystal clear waters, pristine corals and water temperatures that can vary depending upon the current. Dive Kuwala, Pantar and Alor Strait, Kalawasi Bay and East Flores, depending on the length of your trip. Experience thresher sharks, gray reef and whitetip sharks, sea snakes and macro life including mandarin fish, blue-ringed octopus and frogfish. Reefs are covered in vibrant hard and soft corals. Shore excursions include visits to hot springs and an active volcano.
The Banda Sea itineraries range from 8 - 12 nights with most departing and returning to Ambon.
Because there are variations, please be sure to check your specific travel dates. The diversity of marine life really makes this area stand out for divers. The reefs are caked with soft and hard corals and are home to a rainbow of reef fish with everything from wrasse to juvenile emperor angelfish. Macro photographers will be delighted to find mandarin fish and the unusual looking Ambon scorpionfish, which is indigenous to these islands. One of the most magical sights possible in the Banda Sea is huge schools of Mobula rays gliding over the reefs. and arguably the most spectacular experience in the Banda Sea, if you are fortunate enough, is to dive with schooling hammerhead sharks. These giants come here in huge numbers and in often 100 feet of visibility, this is truly a gift. Village visits are offered as well as other eco-adventures during the cruise to round out your experience of Indonesia.

Komodo cruises have 6 - 9 night itineraries. Trip departure and return ports vary between Labuan Bajo and Bali.
Underwater Komodo is what divers dreams are made of with visibility up to 100 feet. Plankton-rich water that comes in from the deep makes the area thick with life, and huge shoals of fish and pelagics flourish around the islands. Protection from the national park also results in the waters and reefs being incredibly healthy and well stocked with fish of all shapes and sizes. The topography of Komodo and the shallow waters in between the Lesser Sunda Islands make for some serious current. Experience up to 8 knots while diving and also highly changeable meaning most dives are drift dives. These currents are what brings the big life to Komodo with mantas, hammerheads, dolphins and mola mola in search of food. Macro lovers wont be disappointed either with pygmy seahorses wrapped around brightly colored gorgonian fans and a rainbow of different nudibranchs on display. This itinerary is suited for advanced open water divers with at least 50 dives experience.
