The resort is located 2-minute drive from Matei Airport on Taveuni Island and features free airport transfers.
Dive Overview
Taveuni offers great diving on the famous Rainbow reef, which lies in the Somosomo Strait and has great soft corals and lots of reef sharks like whitetips, gray reef sharks and nurse sharks. There can be currents, so it's not necessarily for beginners. However, the soft corals look their best in the currents!

Dive Center Overview
Taveuni Island Resort is partnered with Taveuni Ocean Sports that invites each and every diver and marine enthusiast to come and experience some of the richest and most dynamic scuba diving, snorkeling, and surfing in the world. They offer world-class PADI scuba diving courses, tours and packages on the garden island of Taveuni, Fiji from introductory dive courses all the way up through PADI Divemaster.
Accommodation Overview
The luxury private villas (bures) are over 100m2 (over 1000ft2) in size and are built with native Taveuni timbers. There are floor to ceiling windows on all sides. The bures are open plan and the lounge opens into a spacious outdoor living area, which overlooks the ocean and surrounding islands. Each bure has a small kitchenette for snacks and drinks in room and all meals are included at our resort to help you fully relax and enjoy your stay. The largest villa, Matalau offers its own staff and private chef, so guests are totally pampered.

The "inner reef" boasts stunning coral formations and swarms of anthias and fusiliers, while the "outer reef" promises thrilling dives with sharks. Additionally, conic dive sites like the "Great White Wall" and "The Zoo" offer exciting underwater experiences, with currents making some spots more suitable for advanced divers.
