How To Get There
Villa Almarik is a 10-minute walk from Gili Trawangan Harbour, which can be reached by a 2-hour speedboat ride from Padang Bai Harbour in Bali. By request and with surcharge, the resorts provide airport pick up and drop by car, along with a private speedboat to get to Gili Trawangan Island.

Its vicinity to the wide range of dive sites within the Gili Island group makes Villa Almarik the perfect destination for dive travelers. There is prolific marine life in the strong currents, and schooling fish put on dramatic shows.

Villa Almarik offers 24 Standard, Superior, and Deluxe elegantly appointed cottages with a spacious living area and a terrace overlooking the green garden. You will also be treated to fruit and a welcome drink on arrival, evening turn-down, and bottled drinking water in the room. A complimentary baby cot or extra bed (with an additional charge) can also be supplied upon request. All rooms are equipped with:

A mix of Indonesian and Mediterranean dishes awaits you at the restaurant. All dishes are prepared daily with fresh local products. You will find that the many flavors of the island are just as amazing as its views. The spectacular view of Gunung Rinjani, the second-highest volcano in Indonesia can also be enjoyed from the sea view restaurant on the first floor. Lunch and dinner are also served in the pool garden.

Dive Overview
There are over 3,500 marine species living in the reefs and seas of Indonesia. In comparison to the Great Barrier Reef (1,500 species) and Red Sea (600 species), 25 % of all reefs in the world are in Indonesia. The many drop-offs, plateaus, and slopes around the Gili's reflect a good cross-section of what Indonesia has to offer.
All our dive sites are located 10 to 25 minutes via boat ride from the dive center. This means that if you want to go for a dive, you actually do spend more time in the water than on the boat. Gangga Divers' boats leave from the beach directly in front of the resort and then return to the resort at the end of your dive. It's quick, it's easy and it's simple.
For certified divers, there are more than 25 dive sites located around the 3 Gili's. These consist of drop-offs, slopes, drift dives, and of course the tremendously rich bio-diversity in marine life that Indonesia is famous for. There's a dive for everyone...! Experience the adrenalin rush of diving with white tip reef sharks, huge sea turtles, barracudas, manta rays, moray eels, frogfishes, pipefish, and more.

Gangga Divers at Villa Almarik, PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, is managed by the trusted Gangga Divers Team. The Dive Center offers a large range of diving courses conducted by professionals, PADI, instructors, and caters to divers of every age and level of experience; the dive guides are all certified to Dive Master and Assistant Instructor level and will tailor the diving to suit your needs. The dive boats are of traditional outrigger style and equipped with O2, towels, drinking water, and fruits plus a camera washtub.

The Boats
All boats are designed and built for safe and comfortable diving:

- Safety equipment such as radio, life jackets, first aid kit, DAN Jumbo Oxygen twin tanks
- Extra diving equipment
- Reception ability: 3 groups of 4 divers per boat (Number of divers diving at the same time)
