This paradise is only 45 min flight from Rangiroa in the Tuamotu and 1h flight from Tahiti, French Polynesia. The resort provides transport from Fakarava Airport.

Accommodation Overview

The resort provides 10 Beach Bungalows and 5 Garden Bungalows. The Beach Bungalows contain three rooms, accomodating four guests with one queen bed, one single bed and one extra bed. They are complete with air conditioning, a mini fridge, and bathroom amenities such as a hairdryer. The Garden Bungalows contain two rooms, also accomodating four guests with one queen bed, one single bed and one extra bed. Both bungalows are complete with bathrooms with hot water, a terrace, and coffee service.

Food & Drinks

The Snack Sleeper Shark serves guests their lunch at the beach where they can enjoy the beautiful scenery while dipping their feet in the water. Here, they serve the fish specialties of Havaiki in honor of the local tradition. They have even been voted the best in Polynesia by the national travel magazine Geo. Open from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, the restaurant also serves fish or beef carpaccio, raw Tahitian fish, and other grilled or fried steak and fish.

The Meko bar and restuarant is complete with a single-item menu prepared by a chef and cocktails offerred at the bar. The local and European cuisine is made with local products. Concerns regarding allergies and dietary restrains can be relayed to the restaurant.

Dive Information

Classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Fakarava contains a rich diversity of ecosystems. In this undersea Garden of Eden, divers are sure to encounter a myriad of undersea flora and faura beyond their wildest dreams. Fakarava is the second largest atoll in French Polynesia and is also a part of seven other atolls that have been classified as a Biosphere Reserve. Two passes, the Garuae and the Tumakohua, connect the lagoon to the ocean and offer some of the best dives in Polynesia. Besides encountering amazing pelagics and masses of fish, divers can also visit the pearl farms.

Dive Center Information

The Havaiki Lodge Dive Center is fully equipped to handle all of your diving requests and needs as you explore the diverse ecosystems of Fakarava. Dive sites are just a short boat ride away, which can be organized by the resort. To dive, just inform the staff ahead of time!
