Weather Conditions
During this remarkable journey along the Baja coast, you'll enjoy optimal weather conditions that enhance your experience. The surface temperatures range from a warm 89F to 94F, ensuring comfortable conditions both above and below the water. In the water, temperatures vary between 75F and 78F, providing a pleasant environment for diving and free diving.
Visibility is another highlight, with clear waters offering an impressive range of 15 to 20 meters on most days. These excellent conditions ensure that you'll have unobstructed views of the stunning marine life, making your encounters with whales, Mobula rays, and other ocean giants even more memorable.

- Fly to Can San Lucas. Group transfer to La Paz and board the Mango wind, board the vessel in the PM

- 6 full days searching for all pelagicMobula Ray, whale shark, possible Orca and whales. Includes 2 days of aerial scouting

The Nautilus Mango Wind offers 3 private staterooms accommodating from 5 to 6 Guests. 2 of these cabins can be accommodated with 2 twin beds or one queen. Because its a catamaran, the yacht is very wide which makes it much more spacious than a monohull and very stable.

With a career spanning more than four decades, he has dedicated his life to capturing extraordinary images of elusive aquatic and land animals and inspiring others to understand and respect the natural world.
His extraordinary work has won him numerous awards. Notably, he is a two-time winner of the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. His work has also been recognized by National Geographic, the World Press Photo, and the United Nations Environmental Program, among others. His images have appeared in prominent publications worldwide, including National Geographic Magazine, Time, Life, The New York Times, Cond Nast Traveler, and many others.
As an expedition guide, Amos is known for his meticulous planning and vast experience navigating challenging environments. He instills confidence in his team members, always prioritizing safety and respect for the natural world. How to Get There
Flight Information
Guests will first need to fly into Cabo San Lucas. The main airport serving Cabo San Lucas is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), located approximately 45 minutes from the city center. From there, group transfers will be available to board the Mango Wind.

- All trip costs are subject to change without prior notice until your reservation is confirmed. In order to join an expedition, you are required to carry trip, health, and dive (if applicable) insurance. This information as well as your passport photo will be requested after you place your deposit.
- Full payment is due no later than 90 days before departure. We reserve the right to sell any space that is not paid in full by 60 days before departure.
