Diving in Andros Island

Diving around Andros Island is an unforgettable experience, offering access to the Andros Barrier Reef, the third-largest barrier reef globally and the second-largest in the Caribbean. Spanning 100 miles along Andros Island’s eastern coast, the reef features vibrant coral towers, extensive swim-throughs, and abundant marine life, including sea turtles, rays, reef sharks, and countless tropical fish. With most dive sites just a 10-minute boat ride away, Andros offers convenience and exceptional underwater beauty. The resort ensures intimate and high-quality diving experiences with small groups of up to six divers aboard a 25-foot catamaran designed for smooth and speedy travel.

Andros is also renowned for its extraordinary blue holes, the largest concentration in the world. These tidal sinkholes, formed during the last ice age, offer breathtaking cavern and cave dives, some exceeding 400 feet in depth. Inland and offshore blue holes showcase dramatic geological formations and rare marine species. Additionally, the Tongue of the Ocean, a 6,000-foot-deep underwater canyon just a mile offshore, features pristine coral walls and attracts larger pelagic species, making it one of the Bahamas' most thrilling dive sites.
