Arenui Liveaboard
My first Liveaboard trip was on the Arenui..and all the photo workshop participants on the trip had all been there before and told me me I will be spoiled. I was! The food was gourmet quality and abundant. I gained weight! Fresh and varied choices and they did everything they could to satisfy. Making me a daily fresh tomato Bloody Mary made me feel special. The crew was so seamless and on the ball, you did not have to do anything but dive and they did the rest. Accomodations perfect and roomy,no lack of hot water. Good spots to chill or practice my hoola hooping routine and yoga. Dive locations were awesome. I thought I could do without the few topside landings, but they turned out to be invigorating. Can't say enough about Mark Strickland's detailed workshop topics. He was very generous with his down time to give me feedback. Always looked forward to our reviews as well. Really made me step up my game. I had a few minor technical issues with my gear, but the ship captain who is also an underwater photographer saved me. Crew put on a great musical/dance event to wrap it up and I felt like family. Hope I can return.
