Fun Baja has very experienced dive masters. The boat was spacious and was able to accommodate 24 of us with no crowding. They also had DIN or yoke regulator valves and nitrox. We had a nice dinner with the owner on the last night there. Overall, the Fun Baja staff and crew were excellent company.
The Hyatt Place Hotel La Paz was overall very clean. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the service was good. The rooms were also very spacious!! Another plus was that it was located right by the boat harbor. We loved diving with the sea lions and bait balls! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
We had a great trip. You guys are awesome and Buddy Dive was good. We’ve been before so we knew what to expect. I think it is a good dive resort for the value. People just need to know that it isn’t a luxury resort and that all of the diving is self serve even on the boats. So if you are expecting assistance with your equipment, this isn’t the place for you. The staff were all super friendly and the diving on the house reef was better than the average house reef. The accommodation was comfortable and clean but basic. The food in the restaurants was good. We’d go again.
