In October 2022, 10 adventurers embarked on a 10-day safari across Tanzania with Bluewater Travel. Starting in Arusha at Villa Maua, they visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, encountering elephants, lions, and diverse wildlife. The return to Anilao in April/May 2022 marked a significant moment after over two years of uncertainty due to the pandemic. With borders reopening in the Philippines, the annual Bluewater macro photo workshops resumed at Crystal Blue Resort. The workshops, led by experienced instructors like Mike Bartick and Erik Lukas, quickly resumed their intensive pace with daily dives and photography sessions. Participants eagerly applied new techniques, revisiting familiar dive sites to capture diverse marine life, culminating in a spirited photo competition and celebratory dinner, highlighting a joyous return to this beloved underwater paradise.
