Anilao Underwater Photo Workshops 2023 offer two back-to-back workshops in one of the greatest macro destinations in the world. Throughout the Anilao workshop, instruction remained a cornerstone, featuring six comprehensive presentations covering macro photography, snoot shooting, creative techniques, wide-angle photography, blackwater shooting, and a live Lightroom demonstration. Daily image reviews were conducted to gauge guest progress following the formal instructions. Interestingly, these sessions often resulted in overwhelmingly positive comments from both instructors and guests, underscoring the exceptional quality of the images produced.

Bluewater's Underwater Photo Workshop in Anilao 2022 was hosted at Crystal Blue Resort. Led by expert photographer Mike Bartick, the workshop focused on macro photography with guided dives and daily photo reviews. Participants explored diverse marine life, capturing unique behaviors and utilizing creative techniques. Evenings featured sunset views, spa treatments, and social gatherings, culminating in a memorable showcase of photographic achievements.

The return to Anilao in April/May 2022 marked a significant moment after over two years of uncertainty due to the pandemic. With borders reopening in the Philippines, the annual Bluewater macro photo workshops resumed at Crystal Blue Resort. The workshops, led by experienced instructors like Mike Bartick and Erik Lukas, quickly resumed their intensive pace with daily dives and photography sessions. Participants eagerly applied new techniques, revisiting familiar dive sites to capture diverse marine life, culminating in a spirited photo competition and celebratory dinner, highlighting a joyous return to this beloved underwater paradise.
