Aqua Cat Cruises
This was my first experience on a liveaboard, and it certainly live up beyond my expectation.
The boat design is great and, and it is clear that it was designed as a diving liveaboard. The cabins are large and very comfortable, with more than enough storage space, and are fairly quiet.
The dive deck is huge and never feels crowded. You are given a large storage bin for your personal gear; there are rinse tanks for cameras and masks, and a big table in the center for the cameras. There are two showers on the dive deck, which is very nice as you can shower as soon as you’re out of your gear without having to go to your room. The briefings before each dive were very thorough, and the dive crew was always very professional and helpful. 26 dives were offered during the week, including 4 night dives. The dive sites were really a mix, ranging from amazing to very disappointing. The 3 night dives I did were great, not to be missed. The shark feeding dive was very nice, as were the two drift dives we did.
The rest of the boat is very spacious, and well maintained. The crew was great and very friendly, and the food was excellent and plentiful. There was also a lot to do apart from diving, with the crew organizing shore excursions and fishing.
Overall this is a first class liveaboard, and I highly recommend it.
