Best thing I can say is that I would go back in a heartbeat! The remodel of the boat is fantastic! Service and the diving are amazing! We saw sharks literally on every dive, and mantas multiple times. I can't say enough about the food either, excellent quality and always plenty.
I was on the ship to dive Tubbataha, and since it was a transition trip we also dove Colusa and Cagayancillo Islands. Tubbataha is spectacular! Be ready for drift diving past huge, magnificent walls, tons of fish, and lots of pelagic life. Colusa and Cagayancillo provide more of the same. All pristine reef environments with lots of pelagic life. Very abundent and healthy corals as well. The Philippines has 400 of the 500 species of coral found in the world.
The boat is large and comfortable, diving is from smaller boats with 6-8 people per boat. We dove in small groups of 2-4 divers with a divemaster for each group.
The water temp was a consistent 82F the entire time, (early June) and I dove with a 3mm wetsuit mostly for protection against stings, many people dove in shorts and a rash guard.
Currents are very strong all over the atoll, so be prepared to be aware of your environment at all times, and be sure to stay with your group!

Scuba Seraya Resort Bali

What a wonderful spot! The diving is easy and has some of the very best macro photography opportunities in Bali on site, the house site is called Seraya Secrets and is just amazing with a plethora of tiny criiters to keep any photographer happy for multiple dives over multiple days. We even got shots of a puple rhinopias!

And for those days were you want to shoot wide angle or see huge schools of jacks, it's just a few minutes by fast boat to the USS Liberty wreck, Tulamben Wall, and Tulamben Drop Off. For all our diving we always had our own guide, so no worries about getting dropped into a big group and getting dragged around or held back.

In the three trips we've made to Bali the water has always ranged from 81-82F. I'd definitely suggest a 3mm wetsuit as there are a lot of hydroids and fire coral which are easy to brush against accidentally.

The grounds and rooms are lovely, quiet, and secluded. The restaurant has plenty of choices and the food is very good. You really can't go wrong at Scuba Seraya!
