Sofitel Kia Ora features 113 luxurious bungalows decorated with a unique blend of French elegance and Polynesian designs. The bungalows are located on the beachfront or surrounded by landscaped gardens. Some bungalows are even built over water.

The Garden Bungalows are scattered throughout the Sofitel's property. Offering dramatic views of the pond of tropical gardens, the Garden Bungalow's interior is also just as fascinating with its French and Polynesian accents. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with a free mini-bar (with a selection of 2 beers, soda, and water), free wi-fi, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

The Luxury Beach Bungalows are built directly on the white sand beach offering guests a breath-taking panoramic view of Tahiti and the surrounding protected marine area. The bungalow comes complete with a spacious en-suite bathroom, an outdoor patio, and a king-sized bed, and an additional bed.  The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with a free mini-bar (with a selection of 2 beers, soda, and water), free wi-fi, and coffee/tea making facilities. In addition, a satellite LCD TV is also provided.

Superior Ocean View Bungalows

The Superior Ocean View Bungalows are located on the waterfront, creating a soothing retreat while offering an amazing view over the lagoon. Influenced by the French painter Paul Gauguin, the room gives off unique textures and patterns, coupled with vibrant colors. The bungalows also come equipped with a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, a free mini-bar (with a selection of 2 beers, soda, and water), free wi-fi, and coffee/tea-making facilities. The two bungalows are also wheelchair accessible.

Luxury Horizon Overwater Bungalows

The Luxury Horizon Overwater Bungalows offer guests an unobstructed view of the lagoon and Tahiti, allowing guests to dip into the clear waters directly from the private platform. Guests can also enjoy the view from their very own private solarium. The bungalows also come equipped with a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, a free mini-bar (refilled once a day), free wi-fi, and unlimited Nespresso caps, and a tea facility. 

Luxury Overwater Bungalows

The Luxury Overwater Bungalows are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Also containing a private platform and solarium, guests can also enjoy the underwater view from the glass panel in the bedroom which gives a unique glimpse of the below seabed. The bungalows also come equipped with a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, a free mini-bar (with a selection of 2 beers, soda, and water), free wi-fi, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Superior Horizon Overwater Bungalows

There are five Superior Horizon Overwater Bungalows which also give guests a breathtaking panoramic view of the horizon. The glass floor view panel in turn gives guests a glimpse of what happens on the seabed below The bungalows also come equipped with a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, a free mini-bar (refilled once a day), free wi-fi, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Superior Overwater Bungalows

The Superior Overwater Bungalows feature elegant interiors also inspired by Paul Gauguin, the French painter. The bungalow's outside deck provides direct access to the protected lagoon, while the glass panel in the floor offers a glimpse of the seabed below. The bungalows also come equipped with a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, mini-bar, free wi-fi, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Luxury Villa

The Luxury Villa invites guests to a unique experience on the edge of the lagoon. The Villa has two separate bedrooms, a spacious living room, as well as an outdoor deck with a jacuzzi. It is the perfect accommodation for a family or a group of friends. The bedrooms each have a king-sized bed, an additional single bed, and a bathroom. The living room contains a sofa bed. The villa is decorated with paintings by François Ravello, a local artist who was a regular guest of the resort. The room is fully air-conditioned and also comes with an LCT TV, mini-bar, free wi-fi, and coffee/tea making facilities. Bulter service is also available.

sofitel Kia Ora Room Food & Drinks

Pure provides guests a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the themed menus and interactive cuisine prepared by the Chef. A variety of local and international cuisine is enjoyed at the restaurant. Get a chance to live a culinary experience featuring Polynesian cuisine cooked in the "ahimaa," a traditional oven in the ground. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, while dinner is served from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Guests can also quench their thirst with the Vue and Beach Bars. The Vue Bar is open from 5 PM to 7 PM and offers the largest selection of liquors in French Polynesia. The extensive range of cocktails and spirits ensures that there is something that everyone can enjoy. The Beach Bar is conveniently located on the edge of the lagoon, perfect for guests to enjoy a drink or snack without leaving the beach and its white sand.

The K, Sofitel Kia Ora's new fine dining restaurant, is open for dinner every Thursday and Friday. On the other nights, K is available for private dining. Five-course and seven-course menus are available.
