Socorro liveaboards offer some of the most exceptional and unforgettable scuba diving experiences in the world. Diving in the Revillagigedo Archipelago, also known as the Socorro Islands, is a wide-angle adventure filled with giant manta rays and shark encounters. Expect huge schools of fish, dolphins, breaching humpback whales, whale sharks, and other pelagic marine life all in one destination!
The only way to dive in Socorro is via liveaboard since there are no hotels on most of the islands and no places to explore on foot. There are several liveaboards available to suit all kinds of budgets.
Most Socorro liveaboards sail from November to May, which is the prime season for scuba diving. During the off-season, many boats head to the Sea of Cortez, known for big animal encounters, or to Guadalupe, famous for cage diving with great white sharks (though Guadalupe is currently closed to diving indefinitely).
