To reach the lodge, guests can take domestic flights from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, which take about 55 minutes, or from Cape Town International Airport, which would take around 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Thornybush Game Lodge staff can organize transfers from the from Hoedspruit Airport to the lodge, which will take about 30 minutes by road. For guests who want a scenic road-trip, driving from Johannesburg is also an option, and it takes approximately 6 hours.
