Curacao's underwater realm is a paradise for marine enthusiasts and photographers alike, offering a vibrant and diverse ecosystem. Although not known for frequent encounters with larger species like sharks and mantas, the island's waters present captivating opportunities for underwater photography, especially with its "macro" focus reminiscent of Bonaire. The marine landscape is adorned with an array of colorful subjects, including the fascinating Frogfish, Longlured, and occasional Occelated, providing ideal subjects for wide-angle close-up shots. The diversity extends to Pigmy Angelfish, Flameback Angel, Gobies, Blennies, and a variety of crabs, such as Clinging, Cryptic, Neck, and Speck Clawed. The underwater spectacle further unfolds with Banded Coral, Scarlet, Red Night shrimps, and Red Banded Lobster.
