Flight Information

To fly into the Galápagos, travelers typically start by flying to mainland Ecuador, with the main entry points being Quito's Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) or Guayaquil's José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE). From either of these cities, direct flights are available to the Galápagos Islands, landing at one of the two main airports: Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island or San Cristóbal Airport (SCY) on San Cristóbal Island.

Before boarding a flight to the Galápagos, travelers must go through a registration process and pay an entrance fee for the Galápagos National Park, which helps support conservation efforts. It's advisable to book flights well in advance due to the popularity of the destination and limited seating availability.
