I am very pleased with the boat - Great crew, generous rooms, salon and dive deck with space for camera layout etc.
The food is probably one of the best I’ve had on a Liveaboard, with plenty of fresh veggies, seafood, and local dishes to please everyone.
The DMs are knowledgeable about the marine life and dive sites. I would recommend this boat to anyone (and would do this again on the same boat.)
The only drawback is the diving on the dinghy which is a huge inconvenience during rough sea (at Wolf and Darwin). We often have to wait, being toss up and down in the strong current, for over 15 minutes for everyone to get out of the water !!!

I was on the Galaxy Diver II (GD2) in July 2024 when it was still a new boat and it was a fantastic choice.
Trips on the GD2 were priced really well compared to other more "established" boats in the Galapagos, but the company that runs the GD2 also runs a few other naturalist boats in the Galapagos so they are a big and reputable company in the Galapagos.
We had 2 experienced divemasters which is standard for the Galapagos. The cabins were nice, spacious and comfortable. Hot water in the cabin ran hot after the dives even when everyone was showering. The hot water showers on the dive deck were also always hot.
Food was always plentiful and tasty. Some meals were served buffet style and some were table service. There is also a full bar on the boat with beer, wine and cocktails available.
The dive deck was very large and plenty of space for everyone. There is a towel warmer on the dive deck so fresh hot towels are available after every dive!
The boat also had marine starlink internet which offered everyone fast internet service 90% of the cruise.
At the end of the diving activity, there was one land tour to go see the Galapagos tortoises.
Overall a great value and comfortable boat.
