We’ve been shooting underwater photos and video almost every day for the last two months. Bali, North Sulawesi, Raja Ampat and Papua New Guinea. All of the photos you find on this blog (navigate to the underwater photo and video tags) were shot with a Canon 5D Mk3 in the Aquatica A5D Mk3 housing. Today we’re filming this review at Lissenung Island Resort in Papua New Guinea.
The A5D Mk3 housing is tough, and compact/lightweight enough for the traveling photographer (we’ve been on 20 planes in the last 60 days, plus many boat transfers with the housing unpacked). It’s ergonomic and the buttons and knobs feel like the day I bought it, even after much abuse during the last 13 months. See our video review below for all the details.
